Sales Account Manager

Hooqy Media is looking for a high energy Digital Sales Account Manager with a strong sales background to sell advertising space. The purpose of your role is to generate leads and maximise the ad revenue for Hooqy Media. This is a sales role there is a strong emphasis on acquiring new business and you will be expected to hit targets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Pitching to media agencies in a strong confident manner by phone, email and meetings. Ensuring that you achieve and exceed sales target each month.
  • You will be responsible for proactively managing an ambitious yet realistic sales pipeline and you will be capable of providing accurate forecasting, you will be responsible for delivering your targeted revenue each month.
  • Fast turnaround of well thought out proposals, ability to listen to their clients and generate creative ideas that hit the spot and secure bookings.
  • Ability to deliver sales pitches and updates to media agencies in a strong and confident manner, explaining the benefits of using the right technology to target the right person.
  • Ensuring we receive all relevant RFP’s but also aggressively pitching in speculative opportunities to create opportunities.
  • At the same time, you will also have a consultative client approach that will allow you to develop and grow business through building effective long term relationships.
  • Using our data management and audience behaviour tools to further strengthen sales proposals, optimise campaigns, relationships and conversations.
  • Maintain regular contact and good working relationships with the editorial teams to enable maximum revenue opportunities.
  • Maintain constant contact with agencies at the appropriate levels in order to maximise revenue from their portfolios.
  • Ensure that your campaigns are managed efficiently and high levels of service are delivered at all time.
  • Requirements:

  • Must be numbers driven with a real hunger to reach and exceed ad sales targets each month.
  • Proven track record in digital sales.
  • High energy individual, self-motivating, enthusiastic, articulate with great phone manner.
  • Great multi-tasker and able to work well in a team structure and under pressure.
  • Mobile & display advertising experience is necessary.
